If you would look at the world on a different angle, from a depth of 1.5m of n = 1.33 refractive media at the interception of the diagonals. What falls into ur eyes may only be cold dark sky with occasional drops of drizzle, but it's more than enough to change ur perception.
p/s: pull buoys won't hold me up. Either that it lacks buoyancy or that my weight is too much for it to bear. Eh probably the latter.
